I am familiar with the VanMETER slaves but have only read other people's interpretations of the material.
When you offered to provide "citations for the wills and estate papers" I thought you meant to
share the actual book & page numbers, so that I could look up the info first hand ???

When A.J. is still a child, his mother remarries to Barnet REDMAN.
And so sometimes (like in the census) he is called by his step-father's name of REDMAN.

Eleanor=Ellen=Nellie (LETT) (BRUCE) REDMAN.

Ellen & Nellie are nicknames for the given name of Eleanor.
She was born a LETT, married a BRUCE, then remarried to a REDMAN.

You are making the mistake of assuming that just because the name is the same,
that they refer to the same person.
The info from the census & obituaries I mentioned, show NO indication that this is the case.
I will stand by my interpretation that there are 2 people involved, who are both named
Solomon BRUCE, until I see clear evidence that they are one & the same person.

I know about the following Jacob CLIFFORDs who were FPOC.

One CLIFFORD line goes like this ...

..2 Jacob CLIFFORD, Jr. n=abt.1844 PA

Another CLIFFORD line goes like this ...

.1 Isaac CLIFFORD, Sr. m=1796 Judy=Julia LEWIS
..2 Jacob CLIFFORD m=1823 Sally SMITH
...3 Isaac CLIFFORD n=abt.1824 (married 4 times - KENT, LOWRY, TURNEY & REDMAN)
....4 Jacob CLIFFORD n=1860 d=1929

I was asking you whether or not you might know if any of these Jacobs
are in fact the same person who had multiple marriages.
Or whether all of the Jacob CLIFFORDs were completely different individuals.
You might not know but I was just checking in case you did

That is the same info as I already have.
I am trying to take this John REDMAN's line further into the future.
I have read that you have connected a Professor GATES to this John REDMAN.
This implies that you know more descendants.
So what I am asking for is for you to share any & all REDMAN descendants
that take the John REDMAN line through to GATES.

I would like to verify this info as I thought the tax lists only showed adults & not children ?

Have these tax lists been transcribed & available anywhere ?
I would like to see which children are with which parents
