You say in this email that John, Jesse and Isaac Wolverton Redman were brothers and that they came from a part of Virginia that became West Virginia. How do you know they were brothers? It doesn't seem likely that they are Barnet Redman and Stacy Lett or Elenor ___'s children. Who do you think their parents were?

I have a Jesse Redman in the Hardy Co. personal property tax lists from 1824 through 1835. Then a Jesse Redman, born in VA, appears in the 1840 Ross Co., Ohio federal census. The Jesse Redman in Hardy Co. may or may not be the man in Ross Co., Ohio -- I have no evidence either way at this point.

There were also fpc Redman in Mercer Co., PA in 1840. Does anyone know who they were and where they were before 1840?
