Thornton Alexander, Sr. was born about 1780 and was freed in 1816. He moved to Ohio (Meigs County)with his family and his former owners. Alexander cemetery was named after him. Can't find his wife or children. There's a Thornton Jr. on my tree and I'm hoping that this is is father. Can somebody hook me up with a look up in OH to see if there's any more info on him?
