Sugars(S.T.) Jones was born in 1822, in Belmont County, Ohio, as freeborn from his parents Samuel Jones & Jemina Hargrave Jones,who were married in the same location in 1821. He became a minister in the AME Church in Belmont County, Ohio as indicated in the history of Belmont County church achieves. We're looking for the county which (perhaps Surry/Sussex) Samuel migrated from to Ohio and whether he arrived prior to his marriage. Samuel died in 1838 in Belmont, cemetery unknown.
