I am interested in a mulatto family in Warren Co.,OH in 1850:a female-headed household-Lucy BOWDRE(BOWDREY), age 46,(husband was probably named Hays BOWDRE) and a number of younger BOWDREs. All born Georgia. In same household is Susan FOX,age 49 & her two girls. Their real estate was valued at $5000.

In 1860, this joint family is in Ashtabula Co.,OH with a male BOWDRE and a FOX girl married with several children. In the 1860 census, Susan FOX is listed as "age 60, retired doctor, born Georgia".

Anyone know this family or anything about their Georgia connections or have ideas about Susan's medical education/practice? I have a lot of additional information, names and dates and a few pictures. Willing to share.
