Just this past Saturday, I met a decendant of the Simmons-Lucas family from Ohio. This will take some time for me to act upon because I'm currently involved with another branch of my family. However, I can give you something to keep your interest active: The name of "Alexander Sandy" is one well known in Belmont County, Ohio because it belonged to probably the highest man of color, "Alexander L. (Sandy) Harper. Angeline is a name also related to the Harper-Betts family connection. Robert Goins might have more to give you on the Mills family.
