I am a Louisiana researcher looking for FPOC ancestors with the surname LIATAU/LIOTEAU. The name has been spelled, misspelled differently in different records.

I am looking for any information about Madeline (aka Adele) Ferdinand LIATAU/LIOTEAU. She was born In New Orleans, and was the daughter of Ferdinand LIATAU and Melitte BAPTISTE.

Adele may have married Michel de SELIGNY/SELIGNY between 1840 and 1845; however, I have not been able to find a marriage record. Adele and Michel were the parents of one child--a son, named Arthur Angelo.
