Jane,
Thanks so much for all of your information on Redmans and Warricks in Hardy County, WVA. My Redman and Warrick families seemed to go back and forth between Loudoun Co., VA, and Jefferson Co., VA (now WVA). John Redman, who was part Indian, had a family by Cassie, a slave girl, in Loudoun County. The descendants used both the surnames of Redman and Warrick. One of the family, an Abraham Warrick, was born in Loudoun about 1777. I am wondering if he was the same Abraham Warrick in Hardy County. If you come across any other information about that Abraham Warrick, I would greatly appreciate it. John Redman and Cassie had a son, John Redman, who could also fit the one in Hardy County. He did not seem to stay in Loudoun. One son of John Redman and Cassie, George W. Redman, left a large number of descendants in Loudoun County.
