I caution readers before they pass judgement on this magazine, that they consider the reasons for the company's rejection as being something other than racism.

The company has a section on authors' guidelines that covers the query, acceptance and rejection processes. From all appearances, the magazine is not prejudiced, as they've recently published articles on Free People of Color.

I think it is a disservice to persuade those of us on this forum to view this company as racist, based on the rejection of one potential author's experience. Please take the time to read the magazine first, examine its views and coverage of African, Afro-Canadian and African American genealogical research before jumping on anyone's bandwagon.
