Do you know anything of the Long Tigers baseball team? Was it just a local community team? Was is comprised more of people of color? My grandpa and his brothers played on the team.

I don't know about "just" but the Long Tigers (for a short time Giants) was a baseball team consisting of players from the Greenville Settlement. They played other community teams from Ohio and Indiana, and also the better semi-pro teams in Ohio and Indiana, usually defeating them on a regular basis. Later one of fields the team played home games on was Ray HOLLAND Field.
