I'm sure Doug will give you some greatly researched and well-documented information on your ancestors.

A quick review of Census records on Ancestry.com show the Holland's in German Twp., Ohio (Longtown area) as early as 1830. They are there every year from 1830 to 1930...(German Twp. becomes Liberty Twp. during World War I).

Burden's are also found in those Census records in Preble and Darke County. Preble is a neighboring county of Darke county.
