Yes, I have read and own a copy of Paul Heinegg's book. I am new to genealogy but to me it is a remarkable piece of work. He does not attempt to follow the lines forward, but does seem to do a credible job of giving the origins of a lot of families. I have no idea of how complete it is, he has origins for three lines in my family roots. In looking into one of the references, there is a minor discrepency, but that may be in the reference's that Paul cites.
