I am looking for any information on William E Jones of Charles City. He was born about 1825. I think he married a Charity.

Pre Civil Was Charles City was one of the few safe havens for free blacks so people of color did not venture out of the county often for fear of being caught and sold into slavery. I believe William was a Quaker married to a mulotto.
