Hi cousin Will. I am a descendent of your Uncle Washington Chavis. I've been trying for a while to figure out who Jordan was really married to, because upon further study it appears that one of Jordans descendents was married to an (Eliza)beth Jeffries so I wasn't sure if that was just an error or not. I'm not sure where you are located but I am in Jackson, Michigan and have recently discovered many new relatives right under my nose in the Detroit metro area, while I was busy looking to places like Illinois, Mississippi, etc. Anyways, I'd be very interested to hear more about our family history from your sources.
