There is a Free Negro Register for Southampton County. I started transcibing it a number of years ago.....unfortunately I only got up to the first 900 names. I will take a look and see what I see.

At the time I started transcribing the register it was the original document at the LVA and I had to get permission from the Clerk of the Court in Southampton County to even look at it. In other words I had to drive out to Southampton and get written permission.
Since then I believe it has been microfilmed and is available on microfilm at the Library of Virginia. But I will look thru what I have.
