Re: The Colored Aristocracy of St. Louis
In Response To: Re: The Colored Aristocracy of St. Louis ()
Hollis Gentry in particular: I requested information last summer (July) on A.T. Hall, Jr. who once lived in Nicodemus, Kansas (Graham County) 1878-1880. You were kind enough to refer me to a database that used ProQuest, but I could not access it through Fort Hays State University. However, I've since learned that Abram Thompson Hall, Jr. moved to St. Louis in October of 1880 and worked as an editor of the National Tribune. Although I've finished my master's thesis "African American Activists: The Pioneer Politicians of Nicodemus, Kansas, 1878-1880, I will be expanding it for submission to an academic press. I really want to find a picture of A.T. Hall, Jr. If anyone knows of a photo please let me know. I would also like more information in general and would like to know if this paper is available on microfilm.
