I am researching information on the descendants of Joseph Augustine/Augurson and Elnora Lightner. Joseph was from the New Orleans, LA area but was brought to Extension, LA by the Desha Family of Franklin Parish to be a "houseboy". After becoming an adult he married Elnora Lightner. There children were: Bill, Bob, Mary, John, Jesse, Joe, and Isador. Isador is my great-grandfather. We are not sure if the correct name is Augustine or Augurson because my great-grandfather uses the name Augustine; however some of his siblings use Augurson. Any information you may add will be appreciated.
