Still searching for ABRAHAM BASS and his wife EMMA BARNETT also listed as EMMA OWENS. Records show him and both parents born in North Carolina but not where and show her as born in Kentucky. They would have been born around late 1850's or early 1860's. I do not have a clue about his family. His children were Everett, Evelyn, and Jesse (my grandfather). The 1880 census found them in Troy, Indiana, Perry County. I think they may have died before the next census because I haven't found them since and I know Jesse(born 1882 or 83) was orphaned at a very young age.I know there are many Bass families in North Carolina but I don't have a clue who he was connected to and absolutely nothing about Emma Burnett-Owens.
