I saw a message about a slave owner in TN who fathered a son by a slave and later freed him. I believe either his name was Robert Davis or the freed slave was Robert, but it went on to say that the freed slave had children one of which was named Joe. I didn't get a chance to bookmark the message. If anyone knows anything about any of these people, please let me know.
