Re: Underwoods of Tenn
In Response To: Underwoods of Tenn ()
Hi, I'm searching for an UNDERWOOD, also. I don't have a first name, but he was later referred to as "old Indian Underwood." He was owned or rented out to the RITCHIE/RICHIE family, and began the RITCHEY branch of our family. I don't know which state UNDERWOOD was from, but his (prob.)grandaughter, Edith RITCHIE, was supposedly born in Rabun Co. GA ca. 1881. Does any of this ring a bell in your UNDERWOOD family?
