Perhaps you can get clues if you get death certificates. Start with your parents if they are
deceased. Then move on to your grandparents. There may be basic info on the death certificates
that will tell you about the generation before. If
that doesn't work, then use the info on the death certificates to try to find where they lived and worshipped. This may give you a starting point.
