I am trying to make some connections to my ggrandfather, WILLIAM LAWRENCE WHILDEN/WHEELDEN, b.1829 SC.
I suspect that the LAWRENCE surname is of more import than originally thought.
My grandfather, JOHN LAWRENCE WHEELDIN, left NC to settle in Hartford, CT.
