Mary Durham lived at 1122 Locust Street in Philadelphia, as a child with her family. They owned that house and she grew up there. I think that they moved there from "indian town" in virginia. The story goes that they were part of the rail road and had been found helping people escape and were warned to 'get out of town while you can'. So the Stevens and the Durhams left Va. and went to Philadelphia. Grandmother Randolph had siblings;
Her mom, lived in that house until she died at 94 years old..Her name, Elizabeth Stevens (Stephens, married Samuel Durham and had
