Coincidence or connection? FPOC in VA, OH

Is it coincidence, or a family connection?

In a much earlier post, you mentioned that you were seeking families related to Alexander MOSS and DREWRY MOSS. (Alexander and Drewry may be two individuals counted in Henrico County or Richmond, VA as early as 1810.) Did they have a relative in OH named DRURY MAGEE?

I wondered if they could be related to Elizabeth MOSS, who was engaged to marry Reuben STRANGE in 1843 in Warren Co., OH. Later in the same year, Reuben married a different woman, Maria Smith. Three years later, Elizabeth MOSS married William MAGEE. Elizabeth might also be known as "Betsy" or "Betsey." She might have lived for a time with Reuben STRANGE before marrying William MAGEE.

According to 1860 census, William and Elizabeth MAGEE (Elizabeth Moss?) lived in Wayne, Warren Co., OH near another African-American farmer, DRURY MAGEE, apparently their relative. According to 1880 census, William and Elizabeth MAGEE lived in Harveysburg, Warren Co., OH. They are identified in the census as mulattos. According to 1880 census, Elizabeth was born in OH and her parents in NC. William and his parents were all born in VA, where Reuben STRANGE also was born. I believe that Ruben/Reuben STRANGE and Richard STRANGE are related to my ancestors Nelson STRANGE and Hannah STRANGE.
