Does anyone have any knowledge of the people freed by Michael Whitmore in Augusta County, Virginia in 1857? Named are: Elizabeth 52, Benjamin 23, Adam 33, Alexander, Betsey 60. They were freed but had to leave state? Did they, where did they go?
