Interested on information for the Bass family of Longtown- specifically Lewis A. Bass (b.1814 NC & son of Mordechi Bass of NC) who married Mary Clemmens(b.1837 OH &daugh of Charles Clemmens) in 1860. Trying to ascertain if Lewis had a brother named James Bass.

Lewis Bass owned property in both Indiana and Longton pre 1850's and left the area in mid 1870's (along with several other families) and migrated to Kansas.

Also interested if there were any surname Banks in this town -that may have been connected to the Bass family during early settlement period.
