That's my Solomon Davis. I've been busting my butt trying to get names for any of the 17 people in that household.I've only come up with a few of the sons, who are listed on future census records. I have no idea who the elders in that house were.
The records for Gloucester county are horrid for that period. They did some county census, but only for whites. I've found Solomon in an 1802 tax record but I've found nothing earlier that lists blacks.
