Fellow researchers,

There was an Elijah Locust, born in Nash County, NC who married my g-g-g-grandmother Glathy Pettiford in Franklin County, NC in 1842. Elijah may be related to other Nash County Locust families, some of whom I believe descend from Valentine Locust, a Rev War pensioner.

Although Elijah Locust and my ancestor had two children, I am not Elijah's direct descendant.

I would very much like to correspond with anyone researching these Locust/Lucas families in Nash County and would be more than happy to share additional information with anyone who may be related to Elijah.
