In the 1880 census on family search I found this
MASON, SILVANUS, head- age 25
----- MARY, wife -age 20
----- ELIZABETH- daughter- age 4
----- BENJAMIN- father- age 70
----- ALDRIDGE- nephew- age 12
They were living in Fairfield County in township 9
Benjamin was born in Virginia and all of the rest was born in South Carolina
