I'm encountering FPOC, born in the US, described in NY State censuses 1855-1865 as "naturalized voters," in cases where individual met the property requirements NY imposed on FPOC. Some FPOC are just "voters," and others are "naturalized voters." Taken together, not many, but worth note. Is this something someone out there has seen and can explain? Thanks.
