Debra, Slight correction. It's the CLEMENS/BASS/*ALEXANDER* cemeteries. These were the first three families in the Greenville Settlement, Darke County, Ohio. As far as I know the GRANT family in the Settlement has no ties to South Carolina. The GRANT family, as far back as I have found, begin with Esther _____? GRANT? LOCKETT, born in Kentucky about 1810 (both parents born in Virginia). She is found in Paulding County, Ohio living with her son and his wife, William & Rose A. GRANT. William was also born in Kentucky (both parents born in Kentucky). William's son, Jacob Q. GRANT, is found in Paulding County, Ohio; in the Rumley Settlement in Shelby County, Ohio (another "FPC settlement") and then on both the Ohio and Indiana side of the Greenville Settlement, Darke County, Ohio.
