Margaret Blair Young, co-author with Darius Gray of the trilogy Standing on the Promises, will speak in Charlotte NC Sept 16-18. She will focus on Green Flake and other pioneers. We plan to begin a Green Flake Pioneer Fund to help students in this area.

Green came from Anson County, east of Charlotte. We would like to locate the Flake Plantation.
