I find my great aunt HAGAR WHILDEN, living in Colleton Co, SC in 1880.
She is listed as being the granddaughter of JOLEY LINNEN.
The LINNEN/LINEN surname is not familiar to any of us in the family, and we are curious to find a connection here.
