I did find one of my ancestors in this listing. It is Arthur Lee of Alleghany co Va. He petitioned the Commonwealth to remain as a FPOC in 1835 and shows up as a FPOC in the 1840 census for that county. Thank you so much for all of your assistance. And now the work begins. I must gather up originals/copies of originals as a family resource of our journey here in America.
