I don't plan on publishing a book on Sussex. I posted the items I noticed while researching people who were free during the colonial period.
I didn't notice a Jesse Hargrave in the tax lists, and he is not in Selma Stewart's abstract of the Free Negro Register.
I did see Ellick Hargrave and many other Hargraves in Selma's list and in the early tax lists.
