The link is to the Virginia Tech IMAGEBASE, folder on the Civil War, subfolder on Slavery that includes manuscripts on slaves and free people of color.

The lists are of FPOC from Montgomery County, Virginia, from the early 1800's: 1806, 1809, 1811, 1813 & 1815.
This should add to the work done by Richard Dickenson in 1981, Entitled: free papers in Appalachia concerning antebellum freeborn Negroes and emancipated Blacks .
