In the late 1900's through 1920 in St.Tammany Parish, Louisiana were there separate marriage records kept at the parish level for white and black marriages? I have the marriage license with the seal imprint of a marriage with the names of the couple, the Justice of the Peace and witnesses from the marriage that took place there in 1912 & it is not listed with the other marriages from that time that have been transcribed to online.
