In the course of my research I am unable to find any information on any of the other 6 children, they were Thomas b 1841, Jones 1842,Fenton 1847,Lamuel (maybe Samuel)1851, Lawson 1855, John 1853 and Laura 1859. Any suggestions appreciated.

I think Jones and Samuel are found in Fayette County, Ohio for 1880 and listed as "white". In 1880, Ann, the mother appears in Z'ville with daughters Loretta (Lauretta) & Roberta, they're listed as Mulatto. There is also a Thomas (40) in Z'ville for 1880 with wife Sarah and an Eddie (22), they are listed as Black.

Could thes be these family members? The spelling variations are Beatty, Beaty, Beattie.
