Thanks Art that is information that I have already. The John Pettiford that married Carrie Smith is the son of Joseph Pettiford and the grandson of John Milton Pettiford. He is also the oldest brother of my grandmother Orinda Pettiford Miller. I do have access to Ancestry.com and to Hertiage Quest. I have a lot of information on the Pettiford once they came to Indiana but it is information on Pettifords in Ohio and Michigan that would be helpful. I have not been able to find any information on the death of Tamer Pettiford. I would like to just know where she is buried or at least where she died. In my conversations with my grandmother's brothers who were old enough to remember their grandfather they did not remember their grandmother at all just her name Tamer Adaline Curry Pettiford. All of my grandmothers sisters and brother have since passed away the last aunt died on November 9,2004 at the age of 97 years old.
