Hi,

I've been trying to find my greatgrdfather Henry Jackson who was a FPOC. It is interesting to me that in VA the census for FPOC does not start until 1850. Before that time, the 1840 census definitely indicates "white citizens." Is someone able to tell me whether there were FPOC in VA before 1850. If so, how can one find them?
