i am not sure where my great great grandfather entered Florida by way of South Carolina but I know that he was a run-away slave and in Florida he met and married my great great grandmother and they made their home in Zephyrhills or Lumberton, Florida, I have seen some of the censuses but they are not very clear. We have found 3 sets of the children from the 1880 census but the rest is still missing and I think the only way to find them will be by finding who the married and then that may help. on the 1880 census their was 3 daughter Celicia, Mary, Lula, and a son Adam.
The children from the 1880 census that we have found their decendants are Daniel Richardson, Ellen Richardson-Parrish, I am a decendant of Horace Richardson. Any help that you can give will be greatly appreciated.
