I did another search and found the following:

*This household was listed in 1920. The street was Ashley Heights, (I am not sure where this is, as the adjoining street according to the census had "no name.")

Another household in 71st Township of Cumberland County:

Margaret Haze, 36, B, Head of household
Perl Haze, 5, B, Son

Cedar Creek is considered "over the river," or "across the river." I did a specific search for Cedar Creek and came up with nothing for the Hays/Hayes families, however, that does not mean a thing, as county lines have changed, and the area they lived in could have at the time been a part of Bladen, or Sampson County's. I am working off of Heritage Quest, and there is a possibility that it missed some information, (they have not posted the 1930's census yet). Perhaps someone reading can do a search for you with Ancestry.com, which I don't have full access to, but others might.
