Mace Clements' will is posted on the Essex County, VA, GenWeb page. I posted it there several years ago. Mace Clements received land from serving in the Rev War for 7 years. He was a surgeon. He left land in Kentucky to Suckey Hollinger's 3 sons: William, Smith and Henry, and to Suckey, I believe. He called the 3 sons, "my Mulatto boys", which could have meant he was claiming fatherhood?
