Hmmm! I get really excited when someone, anyone, talks, thinks and ask about history, family history and the study of it all. I have typed to and met some on this list who have given me the strength to get up and go look for what I need. All I needed, really, is to know.

I am still having an amazing time with finding the roots of my great great great great grandfather who [it says in his obit] has origins in Virginia's Albemarle county. I have to take breaks because I have a habit of developing hyper-tunnel vision. I am looking at a place, somewhere I didn't know that my surname would take me. Right to the doorstep of the 18th century and close to the Revoluntionary War.
The name(s) is/are there and I have to put the pieces together, some how.
