Look for a Rueben Mason, listed as born in CT or Ny in the 1850 & 60 census of Iowa. This may not be the one, but my FPOC MASONs who are very hard to track are near this family. Rueben and family are listed as white, but check out the names because I also seem to remember Sylvanus. This Rueben was a wagon maker.
