Hi Paul, The following info comes from HQ Census records. In 1820 William Brock of Albemarle County was in the 26-45 age group, with 2 males and 4 females under 14 in the same household, as well as one female between 26 and 45. In 1820 Mary Brock was in the above 45 age group and in the same household were three males, one each the the categories below age 14, between 14 and 26, between 26 and 45. In 1870, Mary Brock, age 70, lived in Fredericksville, Albemarle Co. keeping house, with Zack Brock, farmer, age 78; Lucien, age 30; George, age 25; and James, age 21 (all three worked on farm); and Lucinda, age 12, at home. All were listed as race "M." The following info comes from ancestry.com Census records. In 1850, Albermarle Co., William Brock, age 60 (estimated birth year 1789), a male mulatto, was born in VA and lived with Eliza Brock, age 40, and MelissaBrock, age 30, both also mulattos. Regards,
