I am curious to see if my gggggrandfather Richard Goode born circa 1801 South Hills,Mecklenburg VA, might be on this list. Also some of his children may also be mentioned. I'll just list the names I have and see what comes up. Their names are: Tom,Jim,George,Sam,and Richard. The only problem I find is that the naming patterns are so similiar that one branch can be confused with another branch and there were/are a lot of "Goodes/Good/Goad" from this area.
