Lloyd Smith's Alexander family and mine were slaves on the same plantion. We conversed often, shared information,thoughts and ideas.
My gg-grandfather Frank Alexander had two brothers, one named Phillip and Soloman. They were in slaved at a plantation named Park Forest in Mecklenburg County, Virgina. Soloman migrated to Halifax County, N.C. some time between 1870 and 1879. Their parents my ggg-grandparents are Susan and Richard Alexander.
