I am working on my Flake-Flakes and Sanders family tree. They are from Lee and Monroe County, MS. I am however doing my great uncle Willie Lee Sanders at this time, he married a India Mae LaGrone, they are both from Nettleton, Monroe County, MS. I have traced her back to a Oscar/Ossie/Ozzie LaGrone/LaGrene of Monroe County, MS. I have traced Oscar back to 1900 and noticed he has siblings: Andrew,Georgia A, Wardell, William, Simon, Minnie, Berta, and Charlie LaGrone. Their parents are Eligah/Elijah LaGrone and Margaret Cox.

I have been looking for the LaGrone family that moved from Nettleton, MS to East St louis, IL and/or St. Louis, MO. Willie Lee Sanders and India Mae LaGrone lived in East St louis, IL for many years.

If you know anything that might help us with our LaGrone line, I will be FOREVER happy and grateful!!! I am looking to see if my list I have stated, matches yours, I hope so.
