Looking for any information on the Bethancourt family that lived in
St. John Baptist Parish. Very fair in color. My grandfather was
a twin and they had odd names: Floriston & Florestile, Clovis,
Priscilla, Roger, Felicien. I do not think they were slaves, but
French that migrated. Would appreciate any information. We are
still the only Bethancourt in the river parishes. He also had necies and nephews that were twins and named Osalee and Osama; Whitney and
Whitmore Gordans.
